Perfluoroelastomer bonded (metal-insert) seals for the most aggressive media: sulphuric, hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acid, acetaldehyde, ethyl acetate, ammonia, MTBE, Freon, caprolactam, carbonic acid, chlorine, chloroform, dicyclohexylamine, ethyl ether, dioxane and toluene.
Bonding FFKM to a metal insert gives a rigid, chemically immune sealing element for the most aggressive media in a plant: hot acids, chlorine, chloroform, ammonia, Freon, toluene and a long list of solvents that would destroy any organic rubber.
