HNBR is a hydrogenated nitrile rubber offering greater thermal stability, broader chemical resistance and higher tensile strength than standard NBR. The HNBR barrel isolates and protects the pump from sediment.
In a progressing-cavity or submersible pump the barrel isolates the pumping elements from produced sand and sediment. HNBR gives higher tensile strength, broader chemical resistance and better thermal stability than standard NBR, so the barrel keeps its shape and its grip under load.

Key Features
- Temperature: −30 to 150 °C
- Isolates and protects the pump from sediment
