An FKM diaphragm bonded to PTFE, developed for vacuum diaphragm pumps. It withstands extreme temperatures and harsh media, with exceptional resistance to oils, most chemicals and many solvents at elevated temperature.
Bonding FKM to a PTFE face puts a chemically inert surface against the process fluid and an elastic rubber body behind it. It was developed for vacuum diaphragm pumps, where the diaphragm sees aggressive media, heat and continuous flexing at the same time.
